The mission of Raw Talent Builders Athletics (RAW) is to build a sports program that develops 13-18 youths. We know that physical activity serves not only the body but the mind, the team dynamic also makes a more well-rounded adult.

Our research shows that our youth (especially girls) through regular physical activity can help:
- Prevent Life-Threatening Diseases
- Reduce Feelings of Depression and Anxiety
- Help Control Obesity
- Build and Maintain Healthy Bones, Muscles, and Joints
RTB wants to provide resources in underserved areas which has lack of youth coaching and equipment. We want to help our youth establish lifelong healthy and physical activity patterns.
About Us
We’re a Youth-Oriented Basketball Camp in Escondido, CA
Andrea Lorenez, David Edwards, and Wayne Wooten were a coaching staff for Girls High School Basketball at Bonita Vista High School in the city of Chula Vista, Ca. from 2004 -2014. Each coach with other assistant coaches throughout Coach Wooten’s tenure served and coached over 600 students/athletes. After, going to San Diego C.I.F. finals in Division 1 the three had a dream of working as a team in the future to serve the youths in the communities of San Diego County. In 2021 we met and decided it was time to fulfill our dream of giving back to the community.
Our mission is
To Help Children Combat Issues like Depression or Obesity While Enhancing Positive Traits!
We want to create more spaces for children and teens, encouraging physical activity, bonding, and skills development. With sports like basketball, boys and girls can train their bodies and minds while cultivating a love for a hobby that empowers them to better deal with the complexities of adolescence.
